Effect of anti-Crry on urinary protein excretion in active HN. Animals were immunized with Fx1A lacking Crry (Active Heymann Nephritis) or with bovine type II collagen (CIA). 10 wk later, 5 mg of anti-Crry IgG or F(ab′)2, or preimmune IgG, were injected intravenously twice over a period of 24 h. 5 d after intravenous injection, urine was collected and urinary protein was measured by the sulfosalicyclic acid precipitation method (1).
