Conversion of measured concentrations to measured fluxes. First, the measured concentrations should be filtered. Then, fluxes are calculated from the concentration data (e.g. approximating the derivative or using a dynamic observer). Finally, the calculated fluxes may be filtered to get a smooth signal.
