Figure 7. — CHIPS inhibits the C5a-induced neutrophil migration in vivo. Mice were pretreated by intravenous injection of different concentrations of CHIPS and after 15 min were challenged intraperitoneally with human C5a. After 3 h, the percentage of neutrophils in the peritoneal lavage was analyzed. Data are expressed as percentage inhibition compared with buffer-treated mice challenged with C5a after correction for control nontreated mice. Data are mean ± SEM of two to three separate experiments (n = 2 mice per treatment).
