Subcellular localization of β-catenin/plakoglobin chimeric molecules in BPD cells. At 20 h after transfection, cells were stained with antiplakoglobin (anti-Pg) MAb for ABC4 or with anti-β-catenin (anti-β) MAb for 123D. Nuclei were visualized with DAPI. Occasionally, preferential nuclear accumulation of chimeric molecules was observed in cells expressing high levels of these proteins.
