Toxicity of selected active compounds (4b and 4e) toward RBC. Fresh and uninfected human B⁺ RBC were incubated with the indicated concentrations of AASMP for 24 h. After the completion of incubation, the cells were washed three times with CRPMI medium and infected with P. falciparum culture.
