The P value was obtained after multiple-comparison correction. Because each HGT event was supported by at least three algorithms, Table 3 lists only the highest P value obtained for the specific HGT (i.e., the least statistically significant). Values listed below the breakpoint's start and end refer to the positions of the MLST data set of the first ST recorded for the specific HGT event.
