I _Cl,swell does not undergo steady state inactivation. (A) From a holding potential of −30 mV, 500-ms prepulses to potentials ranging from −120 to −30 mV were applied, followed by a 300-ms pulse to +120 mV. Frequency of pulse delivery was 0.2 Hz.
