A tracing shows that extracellular ATP (100 μM) was applied into the pipette, which means ATP can only block the channel activity through apical membrane, indicating P₂ receptors were located on the apical membrane of CCD. 100 μM cAMP was used to restore the channel activity to exclude the possibility of channel run down (n = 4).
