The distribution of fatigue index values is bimodally distributed in normal, partially denervated and reinnervated muscles after nerve crush, but is less discretely divided into 2 modes in muscles reinnervated by completely transected nerves (i.e. N-N and N-M sutures). Mean fatigue index is indicated by a vertical line.
