(A) Variations in zδ of TEA⁺ in the unmodified RyR channel and ryanoid-modified states with FCs in the range 0.27–0.67. It should be noted that no measurable block by TEA⁺ was seen, and therefore no value of zδ was determined, for the 0.17 FC state induced by 21-p-nitrobenzoylamino-9α-hydroxyryanodine. The solid line is the best-fit line obtained by linear regression. (B) Variations in K _b(0) of TEA⁺ in the unmodified RyR channel and ryanoid-modified states with FCs in the range 0.27–0.67. Again, in the absence of measurable block, no value of K _b(0) could be determined for the 0.17 FC state induced by 21-p-nitrobenzoylamino-9α-hydroxyryanodine. The line plotted through the data has no theoretical significance.
