“BCI-GUI” is a software tool with a graphical user interface to configure the fMRI-BCI experiment, enter user input and protocol parameters, choose one among a variety of feedback modalities, present feedback to the subject in real-time, and report experimental results as graphs and charts at the end of the feedback session. The software is extensible, allowing development of additional preprocessing, analysis, and feedback methods. Modifications to the system can be tested offline by simulating fMRI data before bringing it to the MRI scanner.
