Current traces obtained at the indicated ACh concentrations are shown at a bandwidth of 10 kHz. Dwell time histograms are shown with pdfs generated from the Scheme II rate constants superimposed (see Table II). The hydrophobic substitutions cause little change from wild-type receptor activation kinetics (see Figs. 2 and 4).
