Figure 3

(A) Six hundred microliters of platelet cytosol (9 mg/ml) was immunoprecipitated with 5 μl of nonimmune serum (lanes 1, 3, and 5), 5 μl of p85 polyclonal antibody (lane 2), 5 μl of C-terminal 4-phosphatase antipeptide antibody (lane 4), or 5 μl of N-terminal 4-phosphatase antibody (lane 6) and immunoblotted with 4-phosphatase antiserum (C-terminal antibody). (B) Six hundred microliters of platelet cytosol (9 mg/ml) was immunoprecipitated with 5 μl of nonimmune sera (lanes 1 and 3), 5 μl of p85 antiserum (lane 2), or 5 μl of antiserum to the N-terminal 4-phosphatase and immunoblotted by using p85 antiserum.
