HUVECs were grown to confluence in 96-well tissue culture plates and cells were treated for 18 hr with different concentrations of RTA-derived peptide constructs in M199 with 2% fetal calf serum.
Morphological changes were scored as: −, no changes; +, rounding up of cells; and ++ disruption and detachment of cells from the cell monolayer.
