K+ and Na+ contents in rag1-1 seedlings exposed to salt stress. Ten-day-old seedlings were transferred into liquid medium 2 d for pretreatment. Then the liquid medium was supplemented with 0 or 100 mm NaCl for 2 additional days of treatment. There was no significant difference observed between wild type and rag1-1 either in presence or in absence of NaCl, while K+ content of the Na+ ion homeostasis mutant, sos1-14, was much lower after NaCl treatment.
