A, Poly(A)-selected RNA was prepared from seedlings, juvenile rosette leaves, and adult rosette leaves of No-0 wild-type and cif1-1 plants. Blots were probed with gene-specific probes from the 5′ nonconserved coding regions of the ACA8 and ACA10 mRNAs. B, Quantitative RT-PCR analysis was performed on total RNA prepared from the same tissue samples as in part A, above: seedlings (S), juvenile (J), and adult (A) leaves.
