Passive force was obtained at the steady state. Numbers in parentheses indicate maximal force values obtained prior to cTn reconstitution (P < 0.05 compared with corresponding values obtained after cTn reconstitution). nH decreased upon cTn reconstitution (see Table I), consistent with previous studies (Piroddi et al., 2003; de Tombe et al., 2007).
