(A) Viral RNA (vRNA) levels present in GS4.1 and SL1 cells incubated with 0, 0.1, 0.3, 1, 3, 10, 30, and 100 IU of IFN-α/ml (lanes 1 to 9 and 12 to 18) and with 0.01 and 0.03 IU/ml (lanes 10 and 11) for 72 h were determined by Northern blot analysis. rRNA (28S rRNA) served as a control for the amount of RNA loaded per lane.
