TCR Vβ8-specific effector cells were prepared from activated CD4+Vβ8+ T cell-vaccinated AKR mice as described in Table 1. The FACS CTL assay was used for detecting TCR Vβ specificity of the CD8+ T cells as described (13). Cytotoxicity data are mean ± SD for the indicated number of experiments.
