WAXS patterns of lysyl-DPPG at various temperatures. At 15°C the Lβ′ (dashed lines) and interdigitated phases LβI (dash-dotted line) coexist. The peaks can be ascribed to the (2,0)β′ and (1,1)β′ peak of the Lβ′ phase and the (1,1) peak of the LβI phase. During heating the Lβ′ phase disappears, and at 35°C coexistence of the LβI (dash-dotted line) and a Pβ′ (dotted line) phase is observed. At 50°C the wide-angle pattern indicates a Pβ′ phase.
