Analysis of the FlaA and FlaB proteins in SC-E1. Cell lysates from the wild type and the SC-E1 and flaB mutants were analyzed by Western blotting, and DnaK was used as an internal control. The amount of total protein loaded in each well is indicated. The levels of both FlaA and FlaB in the mutants were markedly decreased compared to the levels in the wild type.
