Mean lindane concentrations at four California wastewater treatment plants: Joint Water Pollution Control Plant (JWPCP), Hyperion Treatment Plant (HTP), Orange County Sanitation Districts’ Plants 1 and 2 (OCSD), and San Jose/Santa Clara Water Pollution Control Plant (SJSC). All data are for influent except for SJSC, which are for effluent. The California standard for lindane in surface water bodies that are existing or potential drinking water sources is 19 ppt.
