Adsorption of OVA onto DDA liposomes. DDA (1 mg/ml) was incubated with different concentrations of OVA for 1 hr and ultra-centrifuged. (a) Pellets (P) and supernatants (S) were analysed for OVA by SDS–PAGE and silver staining. Samples were diluted pairwise before loading onto the gel. M is the molecular weight marker. (b) Concentration of OVA in the supernatants was determined by the Micro BCA Protein Assay and the fraction of OVA adsorbed to DDA liposomes was calculated. Bars show the mean values of duplicate serial determinations. Data are representative of two experiments.
