Gene expressions of EGF, VEGF and CCL2 in BEAS-2B cells after IL-31 treatment. Total RNA was extracted from BEAS-2B cells (5 × 10⁵/well) treated with or without IL-31 at (a) 10–100 ng/ml for 8 hr and (b) 100 ng/ml for 2–24 hr. The mRNA was then reverse transcribed and analysed by qRT-PCR. Results are expressed as the arithmetic mean plus SEM from three independent experiments. Relative expression levels of the genes were expressed with β-actin housekeeping gene as internal reference.
