Human microvascular endothelial cells (HMECs) were plated at 2×10⁴ onto diluted matrigel tissue culture plates and grown in the presence of media from A2058 control cells, or A2058 cells treated with either Ad-SV (100 MOI) or Ad-MMP-2 (25, 50, and 100 MOI) for 12 hours or overnight (A). Branch points were calculated using computer-assisted image analysis with the Image-Pro software and tabulated as a percentage of the control (B). Data shown are mean values of four different experiments from each group.
