Isolates 61 and 62 were derepressed cephalosporinase producers.
The outcome was favorable with respect to the E. aerogenes infections.

The ESBL and MBL genes shown in bold type were sequenced. Some additional ESBLs and MBLs, shown in regular type, were identified by phenotypic, biochemical, and PCR tests, but the genes were not sequenced.
