The R26loxp-TAp57^k/+;Mlc2v-cre^k/+ genotype is represented in the expected Mendelian ratio in the offspring. However, mice with p57^KIP2 cardiac-specific overexpression that are homozygous for the R26p57 allele (R26loxp-TAp57^k/k;Mlc2v-cre^k/+) are significantly under-represented in the offspring (p < 0.01 by Chi-square and n = 203)
