Representative ERGs recorded from Cln3-/- mice and C57BL/6J mice at 1 and 2 years of age. In 1-year-old mice, the dark-adapted b-wave amplitudes of the Cln3-/- mouse moderately decrease, but the a-wave amplitudes are comparable to the age-matched control. In 2-year-old mice, the dark-adapted b-wave amplitudes of the Cln3-/- mouse are significantly reduced, while the a-waves are preserved. Negative ERG waveforms are evident in Cln3-/- mouse. The light-adapted b-wave amplitudes of Cln3-/- mouse decrease. (Background light: 30 cd/m2)
