The permeabilized fibres were contracted with 10 μM Ca²⁺ CSS, and then relaxed by exposure to Ca²⁺-free CSS containing 10 μM wortmannin in either the presence (•) or the absence (○) of 3 μM M130^1-374. M130^1-374 was applied 5 min prior to exposure to Ca²⁺-free CSS. Force development is expressed as a percentage of that obtained with 10 μM Ca²⁺. Data are means ±s.e.m. (n = 4).
