Representative transverse sections depict the NTS sites (asterisks) where ANGII microinjections modulated the cardiac components of the baroreceptor and chemoreceptor reflexes in the WHBP. The sites are depicted for 11 preparations where bilateral microinjections were performed. Sites were typically medial to the solitary tract and extended from the level of area postrema to −0·6 mm caudal to it.
