NTHi-induced PGE2 expression mediated by COX-2 up-regulation. A549 cells were inoculated with different concentrations of NTHi with or without SC560 (5 μM) and NS398 (10 μM), specific inhibitors of COX-1 and COX-2, and expression levels of PGE2 were measured by ELISA assay.
