Promoter activity in S. coelicolor M145 (dark bars) and ΔphoP mutant (open bars) of phoRP, phoU and pstS using the xylE gene (encoding a catechol dioxygenase) as reporter, growing in R5 liquid medium with 40 µM phosphate.
