LH-Induced MAPK Activation Is Reduced in Areg−/− Egfrwa2/wa2 Preovulatory Follicles
LH-induced MAPK phosphorylation was analyzed by Western blot using proteins extracted from wild-type (Areg+/+ Egfr+/+), Areg+/+ Egfrwa2/wa2, and Areg−/− Egfrwa2/wa2 POFs that were cultured in the absence or presence of 5 IU rLH for 2 h. The ratios of phosphorylated MAPK to total MAPK levels were normalized to the wild-type level after 2 h rLH stimulation. Data represent the mean ± sem of five separate experiments. *, P < 0.001.
