K562/NOX5 cells were pretreated with the indicated inhibitors, as described in Experimental Procedures. The cells were then tested for superoxide production in the presence or absence of H₂O₂ 100 μM for 10 minutes. Superoxide production was expressed as a percent of the value obtained for non-pretreated cells in the absence of H₂O₂. The data are the means +/− SEM of 5 to 10 independent experiments.
