Glomeruli were preincubated with 100 μM N^ω-nitro-L-arginine (NNA), 10 μM 7-nitroindazole (7-NI) or PBS (Con) for 30 min, followed by 1 μM Ang II for 5 min. Incubation was then continued with 1 μM ATP (filled bars) or PBS (open bars) for 2 min. Results are expressed as a percentage of basal value. Columns indicate means ±s.e.m.
