Effect of immobilization on daily activity of FDI

Chronic EMG recording was carried out for 18.0 h without immobilization (A) and for 18.5 h with immobilization (B). EMG signals were rectified and integrated every 10 min. Note that the amplitude of the integrated EMG was smaller during immobilization and that the activity was more marked in the daytime (< 250 min and > 700 min).
