^*Colon tumors that contained wild-type β-catenin (Table 1) were screened further for mutations in the Apc gene. Genetic changes were identified exclusively within the region spanning nt 1094–1722, which encompasses the so-called ‘Mutation Cluster Region’ of Apc [1].
