Conserved longevity genes

RLS was initially measured in MATα ORF deletion strains and confirmed in MATa deletion strains. Statistical significance was determined using Sign Wilcoxon Rank Sum tests. The corresponding worm aging gene for each yeast gene is given. Human orthologs of yeast genes were identified using P-POD (Heinicke et al. 2007). Human orthologs are not listed (–) in cases where the yeast and worm aging genes are related but not orthologous.
