Cells were treated with either scrambled (Scr) or N-WASP and WAVE2 siRNA. Filopod length was quantified from time-lapse videos after EGF stimulation. Persistence was measured by lifetime of filopods throughout EGF stimulation. Lifetime is defined as the total duration of a filopod from first appearance to final disappearance in the time-lapse movie. P-values are in comparison to control. P = 1.73 × 10⁻⁵.
