The wavelength of the acoustic excitation is equal to λ, and the radius of the circular piston is a = 5λ. The spatial axes are normalized in the radial direction with respect to the piston radius a and in the axial direction with respect to a2/λ. This simulation result is the reference for all subsequent error calculations in Figs. 4, 6, and 811.
