The measured parameters were hemoglobin (Hgb), hematocrit (Hct), mean cell volume (MCV), mean cell hemoglobin (MCH), red cell distribution width (RDW), reticulocyte count (Retic), and reticulocyte mean cell hemoglobin (CHr). Values are mean ± SEM. P-values (Student’s T-test) were calculated using Microsoft Excel.
