C-di-GMP does not alter HapR DNA binding. HapR binding to the aphA (top panel) and vpsT promoter (bottom panel) was determined in the presence of increasing amounts of c-di-GMP (lanes 2 to 4) or a 5% methanol buffer control (lanes 5 to 7).
