All models include the following controls: immigrant status, sex, age, income dummies, fair/poor health, presence of limiting condition, race dummies, MKA education dummies, and dummies for the presence of a working parent in the household (including a “missing parent working” dummy).
Models for utilization and access measures include the additional controls: had full-year public coverage, had full-year coverage that included public and private coverage, uninsured part of the year, and uninsured all year.
All models account for the complex survey design of the NSAF.
