Temperature-dependent growth of hsp90⁺, swo1-26, swo1-21, and git10-201 strains. Spot tests were carried out on YEA rich medium at 25°, 28°, 30°, and 37°. Strains FWP72 (wild type), CHP567 (git10-201), CHP989 (swo1-21), and CHP979 (swo1-26) were cultured to 1 × 10⁷ cells/ml in YEL liquid medium. Cells were washed with YEL medium and adjusted to 2 × 10⁷ cells/ml and subjected to five 10-fold serial dilutions. Five microliters of each culture were spotted to a YEA plate and grown for 3 days at the indicated temperature before photographing.
