All experiments were performed in 50 mM TRIS-HCl (pH 7.4) 250 mM NaCl, and 1 mM CaCl2. The MBP and CaM concentrations were 2 μM. The data represent averages of three experiments. The regression coefficients for fits to Equation 5 in the text were all r2 > 0.99.
