Therapy with B16/DC.GM fusion vaccine greatly reduces the established pulmonary metastasis of tumour-bearing mice. B6 mice were given an intravenous (i.v.) injection of 2×10⁵ B16 tumour cells to establish pulmonary metastases. Three days after tumour inoculation, mice were treated by two vaccinations, at a 1-week interval, with 2×10⁶ irradiated B16, B16.GM, DC.GM, B16/DC.GM or B16/DC cells. On day 15 after tumour inoculation, mice were killed and pulmonary metastases nodules of each mouse were counted. The data presented were pooled from two separate experiments.
