Effect of extracellular pH on the binding of different concentrations of AIgG to human neutrophils. Neutrophils (5 × 10⁶/ml) were incubated for 30 min at 4° with AIgG (10–3000 µg/ml) in culture medium adjusted to pH 6·5 or 7·3. Cells were then fixed and stained with FITC‐conjugated F(ab′)₂ rabbit anti‐human IgG. Results are expressed as MFI and represent the arithmetic mean ± SEM from 6 to 9 experiments. Statistical significance: *P < 0·01 and **P < 0·05, compared to pH 7·3.
