Rat1 but not Xrn1 can be cross-linked to the rDNA. ChIP analyses were performed for Rat1-TAP and Xrn1-TAP over the rDNA (A) and ADH1 (B). The promoter is depicted by an arrow. The “Reb1-dependent” terminator T1 (rDNA) and the poly(A) site (ADH1) are represented by lollipops.
