(A) Aliquots (1 × 10⁵ cells) of cell culture taken at the time points shown were processed for SDS/PAGE (10% gel) as described in the text. The proteins were visualized by Coomassie blue staining. (B) Aliquots (5 ml) of cell culture were processed for preparation of crude extracts for RK analysis. Values obtained in mock-infected cells (13.5% ± 3.3% of maximal activity) have been subtracted.
