GC loss up-regulates dilp message but activates expression of dFOXO target genes. (A–D) GC-less flies (UASp-bam+/+; nos-GAL4::VP16/+) exhibit increased production of dilp 2, dilp 3, and dilp 5, both in the y w (A–C) and w1118 backgrounds (D–F), relative to controls.
